macOS automatically saves screenshots to the desktop. It is convenient for one or two screenshots. However, if you plan to take many screenshots, you should use Screenshot Path. This tool lets you choose a custom destination to prevent clutter on the desktop.
In macOS werden Bildschirmfotos automatisch auf dem Schreibtisch gespeichert. Das ist praktisch für den gelegentlichen Gebrauch. Wenn Sie jedoch viele Bildschirmfotos machen, wird der Schreibtisch schnell voll und unaufgeräumt. Mit Screenshot Path können Sie einen eigenen Ordner für Ihre Bildschirmfotos festlegen.
The missing settings
You can choose your own folder or create a default folder for your screenshots with just one click. This folder will be set as the default location for your screenshots within your home folder. Additionally, it will be placed in the Dock for convenient access to your most recent screenshots.
You can also choose the file type of the screenshot (PNG, JPEG, TIFF, HEIC. BMP), decide if the filename should include a timestamp, add a custom screenshot name and choose whether screenshots of windows should have a drop shadow.

"Wow! Amazing solution for me. I do not want to keep lot of screenshots on my desktop. I know there are special commands in terminal and you can change the default location.
